Shopping Adventure

Since I needed to get out of the house and do some shopping, I thought I'd take Makenzie along for the ride.  Here's the first car ride for my monster.

Of course it wasn't the safest spot in the car for my monster.  But it does show that she was out driving around with me in the car.

As for my shopping list, I needed some groceries and a couple items from the local craft store.  With my list in hand we stopped off at the craft store first.

Here's Makenzie looking at the Speedball carving stamp block.  I won't say what it's used for right now because I'll most likely post something later about it.

Of course, it wouldn't be right without a monster jumping into one of the yarn bins.    Makenzie has a love for yarn.  Or at least yarn that can be used to make something that will keep you warm in the middle of winter.  Since I didn't want Makenzie mistaken for a toy, I quickly grabbed her and made my way up to the cashier to pay for the items I got.

Then it was off the the grocery store.  Most stores have the produce up front or near the front of the store.  Of course, Makenzie knew exactly where she wanted to be.  Right in the middle of the carrots.  Thankfully, nobody saw where she had been.  I'm sure if someone did see, I would have been ejected immediately from the store.  The really good part about the grocery store was that as soon as I got up to get in line behind another customer,  the cashier at the next lane opened up.  What luck!  That really doesn't happen.  So, I'm think Makenzie has a little bit of good luck somewhere.  Hopefully it will pass along to the next person.
